We are delighted to welcome Vesna Vrdoljak to Gas Gallery. Vesna is a collage Artist living and working in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We have a number of framed and unframed original collages plus new limited edition prints on the gallery website.

Originally trained In European film and Aesthetics at Masters level, Vesna did not originally see herself as an Artist until she began working in collage in 2008. The process began organically by Vesna combining appealing images sourced from vintage magazines and old photographs.

 A strong narrative feel runs throughout her work, with each piece imbued with a story that can be open to interpretation, by combining images that at first may not relate to each other. Vesna fuses analogue images from magazines and journals with old photographs and bits of coloured paper, to create her narrative arrangements which are all glued together by hand.,

Vesna’s most recent exploration with the medium is in creating limited edition prints by scanning found images and playing with scale and texture to create new narratives.

Price rises of Kate Banazi work due to collector demand - an opportunity exists now to purchase before the rise. 

Kate Banazi's original and limited edition artwork is currently enjoying great success and attracting collectors across the World. 

Due to demand for Kate Banazi's hand printed Serigraphs on paper and perspex, the value of her work has increased quickly and some editions have doubled in price. We have temporarily taken a number of her limited edition prints and perspex off the website for the present time in order to offer you the opportunity to buy them before we increase the prices in line with other dealers later in November. 

If you have been considering purchasing one of Kate Banazi's pieces, now is an ideal time to invest in her work since the value of her work will continue to rise. 

Viewing the Artwork in person is recommended. There are many layers of ink on each piece which create new colours as they overlay which is difficult to portray in photographs online. However if you are not based in London we can send detailed images of the prints and help with your purchase.

We are really excited to be preparing for our first International Art Fair in Stockholm, Sweden.

Collage Artist Vesna Vrodljak joins Gas Gallery this month. Based in Amsterdam, Vesna creates dreamlike narratives using a variety of source materials. We will have a range of limited edition prints and original one-off pieces. See more of her work here

Also joining us this month and showing for the first time in Stockholm is photographer Stine Geotrik. London based and originally from Denmark, Stine's work focuses on the stillness and quiet in both our urban environment and in nature. New to the gallery for the Autumn is a series of prints by Anna Marrow, which sees Anna exploring further some of her favourite themes including Ice Cream Trucks, City high rise buildings and vintage diving beauties. 

Passion City features Anna's signature bright yellows, combining urban architecture with delicate touches. Mr Treat sees Anna return to one of her favourite subjects, the British Ice Cream truck juxtaposed with dancing partners enjoying themselves. Both prints are sized 56 x 56 cm and have torn edges. Hand printed by Anna Marrow in Bristol, these prints are already proving popular. 

Look Up is a more paired back piece, featuring another of Anna Marrow's favourite buildings: Trellick Tower in North West London. An icon landmark of brutalist architecture, an unlikely figure can be seen diving in the air - free as a bird.

Starting this Friday 1 July, we are having a Summer Sale with up to 15% discount on prints. We have a number of prints that are almost gone and we need to clear some space for new collections of work coming later in the Summer. So keep an eye out for the newsletter - or sign up on our news here 

Opening this Friday 10 June is the bi-annual open studios event at Pullens Yards in south London which runs through Saturday and Sunday. Previously our studio home until last year, we're pleased to have been invited back by our friends there to show again - this time at 21 Iliffe Yard. 

If you haven't visited this event before, it is a real gem. Nestled just close to Elephant and Castle and Kennington tubes, these historical yards which previously housed London's artisan workers are now home to a great number of different creative talent including the Royal Academician Frank Bowling. There will be ceramics from Billy Lloyd and Daniel Reynolds plus fashion design, jewellery, Lute makers, music, food and drink with beers from local brewery Orbit + much more can be found in all 3 yards.  Some further information on the history of the yards can be found here.

We have a show starting today at the great independent fashion design store Lowie in Herne Hill as part of the Dulwich Festival Artist Open House. We have a selection of prints and paintings by Anna Marrow, Delphine Lebourgeois, Kate Banazi, Kevin Dutton and Marleen Pennings. 

Show is open from 7 May - 15 May : Lowie is open from 11-6 Monday to Saturday and 11-5 on Sundays.

Following on from the success of the Affordable Art Fair last month, we have a number of Anna Marrow's prints that are selling out and down to the last few.

We launched 'Pink Divers' at the show - a limited edition of only 10 with 5 printed on Japanese plywood and 5 printed on paper. At the show we sold 4 on paper and 2 on wood. The remainder of the edition is available to buy online - with 2 Artist Proofs available.
