Ink onto multilayered Perspex and framed in opal white perspex.
These boxes by Kate Banazi are handprinted and textured, using un retouched screens, celebrating all the nuances of paint and imperfection. They are a celebration of blemishes, accidents and real life encased in a perspex facade. They honour relationships, identity, movement, shadows and colour, interlocking shapes held together lightly but ready to fall apart. Negative space and line work map chaos, voids and then beauty - a reflection of every day life in all its unpredictable glory.
Each piece is unique and authenticated by the Artist on the back.
